3 WORD REVIEW: HERBS, SOUR CHERRY, SALINITY
Try this if you enjoy Pinot Noir
Turi is the name Salvatore in Sicilian. Fruit of the earth and of his hard work; it is produced in the renowned “Contrada Buonivini”, near Pachino, always well known for the Nero d’Avola. Processing starts with hand harvesting the ripe and whole, intact grapes, destemming-crushing and fermentation by indigenous yeast in a temperaturecontrolled tank for about 6 days. Bottled in the spring following the harvest. Rosemary and thyme on the nose with a little minerality, but then sour, fresh cherries appear on the palate. Refreshing acidity and a nice salty finish.
