CHERRY, SOFT, EASY DRINKING

A Californian Pinot Noir for this price is unheard of. Less complex than some and a touch of sweetness, make this wine a crowd pleaser. Lush aromas of black cherry and plum lead into flavours of bright red cherry and raspberry with a hint of mocha and toasty oak. The palate is medium bodied and balanced with silky tannins and a lingering red fruit finish. Odd Lot Pinot Noir is great for easy drinking and bbq's.

At the winery, the fruit is carefully sorted then destemmed, crushed and fermented at warm temperatures in stainless steel fermenters. Gentle punch downs are performed several times a day. Once dry, the must is pressed into stainless steel tanks for settling, then racked prior to aging on both new and neutral French oak. The time on oak imparts nuanced notes of vanilla and toast.
