The organic Nero d'Avola grapes for this wine come from the estate grown fruit of Cortese in the southeast of Sicily. No sulphur is used during the winemaking, which is a difficult skill. Unoaked and boasting dark black fruits and a rich mouthfeel from lees ageing, slight background bitterness to wet the tongue this wine is pure and silky with fine acidity and soft tannins.
