3 WORD REVIEW: RHUBARB, STRAWBERRIES, ACIDITY

Try this if you enjoy other low intervention reds with acidity.

With 100% Pinot Gris grapes, this wine dances in your mouth until the bitter end. With 15 days of skin maceration in whole bunches. On the palate, strawberries, rhubarb, gooseberry pie. Soft tannins and plenty of red fruit aromas with explosive acidity.

For Philippe Brand, biodynamic winemaking aims to increase the fertility and health of our soils by encouraging greater biodiversity. Philippe says that “Working with nature gives us grapes that reach their full potential and enables us to vinify Biodynamic and Natural Wines.” For him, his role is to maintain the balance of micro-organisms, roots and animals within their soils and vivify their wines biodynamically, using natural products and medicinal plants. It is a philosophical choice aiming to return to natural expression of the terroir, to make a living wines. The Vineyard is now 10 hectares, and the vines average around 40 years in age (with some up to 70 years old), and are grown predominantly on clay and limestone, with some gray marl.
