Chateau Bonalgue 2015, Pomerol. 3 WORD REVIEW: RICH, BOLD, ROBUST

Chateau Bonalgue 2015, Pomerol. 3 WORD REVIEW: RICH, BOLD, ROBUST

£85.00

This vineyard was originally built by one of Napoleon's officers returning from his Egyptian campaign over 200 years ago.

This wine is deep purple in colour, powerful and opulent on the bouquet that screams ripe plum characters. The palate is very rich with multiple layers of chocolate and liquorice.

Aged in 45% new oak for 12 months this is a classy example of right bank vinification and will age beautifully.
