This is a class act from Ribera del Duero. Everything you would expect, big, bold & powerful whilst also having an elegance on the palate. A real knockout.

Cherry in colour with a garnet rim. The nose is powerful and complex with intense clean, fruity aromas with defined notes of coffee and toffee, a mineral background and spicy cinnamon, vanilla nuances. The nose is completed with aromatic herb aromas of thyme or juniper. The palate is elegant and fruity with magnificent structure and fine and sweet tannins.

: Bodegas Fuentenarro is a small bodega run by the Perez Garcia family based in the village of La Horra in the Province of Burgos. They have grown grapes for generations but only started making their own wine in 2002. They farm 20 hectares of vineyards in numerous plots ranging from 20-70 years old. The vineyard is over 90 years old, planted by Pedro’s grandparents at a height of 840 meters, on a strong clay soilthat retains the humidity, even in dry periods of extreme heat. No wonder this beauty is bursting with intensity.
